Happy First Day of Spring!
I will be in the glaze room today, Friday 3/20. I am glazing mugs, tumblers, casserole dishes, some wren pitchers and few bunnies while setting the glaze kiln. I am going to burn the kiln on Monday 3/23 and then unload the finished ware starting Wednesday afternoon.
It has been so nice to have so many of our Northern visitors come in for a visit. Welcome back to South Alabama.
On a sad note I lost Ester my Greyhound on
October 1, and then my Saluki , Bennie B on November 25th. The shop had gotten very quiet.
On a happier note Saturday Jan. 10, 2026 Pam & I fostered / adopted our new best friend &
shop mascot.
He is a big Bozori boy, Olaf, about 5 years old. Many thanks to my friend Darla for helping me locate this splendid guy and the
National Borzoi Rescue Foundation
for their foster and adoption program.
